Use strictly as directed Shake thoroughly before use. For safety, child resistant cap fitted. Please ensure the child-resistant cap is engaged by tightening the cap and then turning it backwards until a clicking sound is heard. To remove cap, hold down firmly while turning anticlockwise. Can be mixed with water or fruit juice if required. Give correct dose every 4-6 hours as necessary (maximum 4 times within 24 hours). Do not exceed the recommended dose or administer for longer than 48 hours at a time without doctor's advice. Do not administer with other products containing paracetamol, unless advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist. Give to children aged 1 – 2 years only on health care professional advice. Do not give to children under 1 year. APOHEALTH Children’s Paracetamol 1 month to 2 years, which contains a higher strength of paracetamol, may be used for infants aged 1 month to 2 years. If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 131 126, New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away, even if the child feels well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated.
