Product Information
Direction
Store at room temperature out of direct sunlight. Before each use, clean with mild soap, detergent or alcohol. After use, store in an airtight plastic bag at room temperature out of direct sunlight, or in a freezer.
Intended use for Lansinoh Thera°Pearl:
Engorgement, or swollen breasts: apply heat therapy to soften the breasts immediately before feeding and to help the milk flow. Apply cold therapy between feeds to help reduce swelling and provide relief.
Plugged ducts: apply heat therapy and gently massage the affected area between and during feeds to help the milk flow.
Mastitis: apply heat therapy to help the milk flow and relieve symptoms. Apply cold therapy between feeds to help reduce pain and swelling.
Can also be used with a breast pump to reduce time spent expressing.
Warnings
Do not heat packs beyond the time stated. Heating beyond the stated time may damage or destroy the THERAPEARL pack. Always test pack temperature prior to application. Do not apply for more than 20 minutes at a time. Overheating or prolonged application may cause injury. Do not use for purposes other than intended. Do not fall asleep using pack. For external use only. Do not use on infants or allow infants to chew on packs. Do not apply to sensitive skin, insensitive (numb) skin or open wounds. Use only under adult supervision. Do not puncture pack and/or ingest contents. Discard pack if punctured or leaking. For extreme, prolonged or chronic pain, contact a healthcare professional.
