Suitable for treating mild acne, Benzac® AC 5% Moderate Strength Acne Gel is formulated with antimicrobial Benzoyl Peroxide. It is a targeted spot treatment that helps to unblock pores, blackheads and whiteheads. Containing acrylates copolymer beads, Benzac® AC 5% Moderate Strength Acne Gel absorbs excess oils and also releases glycerol to keep skin feeling smooth.

Active: Benzoyl Peroxide 50 mg/g Inactives: Docusate Sodium, Disodium Edetate, Poloxamer 182, Carbomer 940, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerol, Silicon Dioxide And Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide To Adjust pH.
Directions
As the second step in your three-step acne treatment routine, only use Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel on affected areas. Make sure you wash with a cleanser first, before patting your skin dry. Next, apply a thin film of gel – just once a day – and leave it for two hours. Wash off well with water and pat dry, before applying a light moisturiser. If, after three days, you’ve felt no discomfort, apply in the evening and leave overnight before washing off. After seven days, if there’s no redness or peeling, and your condition has not improved, use twice daily, morning and night.nnIf you’re not happy with the results, try a stronger gel (Benzac AC High Strength 10% Acne Gel). If your condition has not improved after one month, consult your Health Professional

Direction
As the second step in your three-step acne treatment routine, only use Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel on affected areas.
Week 1: Start Slowly
Wash and dry your hands before applying the gel.
Cleanse your skin with a gentle cleanser and pat your skin dry.
Apply a thin layer of Benzac AC Gel once daily to the affected areas. Leave on for 2 hours, then rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.
Moisturise with a light, non-comedogenic moisturiser.
After 3 Days (If Tolerated Well)
Wash and dry your hands before applying the gel.
Cleanse, then apply the gel in the evening.
Let the gel dry and apply a light moisturiser. Leave it on overnight.
After 7 Days
If there's no redness or peeling, and your acne hasn't improved, you can use the gel twice daily, in the morning and night.
Following cleansing and before moisturising.
If you're not seeing results, consider switching to Benzac AC High Strength 10% Acne Gel or Benzac AC Mild Strength 2.5% Acne Gel.
If there's no improvement after one month, consult your healthcare professional.
